In the beginning, the couple was trying to live in Israel, but Israeli authorities would not allow Osama to join his wife there. Soon, they decided to live together in west bank, Palestine. However, the Palestinians do not share their view for the cross nation marriage and made life difficult for them.

"I feel like a stranger here" says Osama. "Even in my homeland. This place is a holy land, but they're killing each other. It's like it's already a lost cause."

"We ran out of choices of finding any solution to live in either Israel or Palestine" says Jasmine. ”We were naive and thought we could win this fight but we can't. So we have to go abroad and start a new life."

Finally, they decided to live in Europe.

When Osama and Jasmine tried to leave Palestine, in Palestine boundary Osama got arrested. The Israel policy did not allowed him to come out from Palestine. On the other hand, Jasmine who is an Israeli got the superior treatment. She could move around Palestine easier than Osama.

"Jewish people were abused for thousands of years, but my nation has switched from being victims to being abusers." Osama sighed. "That's hard for me to acknowledge. The Jewish people are occupiers now, and we are racist."

Finally, both of them decide that jasmine move out to Europe first and osama arrange the permition to able to out from his country.
