Try to find out the root cause

Give him a piece of your mind

After hearing all his side of the story from him, now it is your turn to talk. You have the right to yell at him. You are a tsunami of pain, sadness and anger. Take it all out on him. Cheating is by far worse than a polygamous.

Time to decide

When both sides of the stories are told, now it is time to decide. Regardless the root cause of the cheating, you must decide what works best for you. Can you accept & forgive the fact that he had cheated on you? Would you stay by him knowing that there is a chance that he might do that again? Don’t try to keep the broken relationship just because you had been with him for long time. This is personal and the right decision is not the same for all women. If you decide to end the relationship, end it gracefully.

Giving him another chance

If you decide to give him another chance, do not seek for revenge. Having an affair just to get even with him does not make sense. No one would benefit from that. When you have chosen to accept and forgive, payback is not justified. Everybody makes mistake. Since you have made the decision, you should not invoke this matter during future arguments. Evoking the incident is not going to make things better instead it might cause other issues in your relationship.

Seek Counseling

The next step is to seek for couples counseling. It is generally performed by a family therapist. Couples counseling is a confidential and non judgmental process that is aimed to help a couple to better understand and manage problems in the relationship.

Make up your mind

The process has to start from you. You need to really think it over before breaking it off with him. Are you sure that he is not the one that you want? What would you do if he is willing to change? Take a day off from your everyday stuff and make sure that you have made up the final decision.

Stop sending the wrong signals

Once you have decided that you are going to break it off with him, you need to stop sending those 'love' signals to him. You need to be less caring and loving in the way you talk to him and the way you look at him. By doing this you are sending body languages that he is no longer special to you. Do it in a friendly but unemotional way.

Don't do it in public

It is a bad idea to break up with somebody in the public places like restaurants or movie theaters. Chances are when you are doing it in public places, people might be looking at both of you and this could badly embarrass him. Moreover, breaking up in public places would put you in some awkward moments. Pick a private place that he would be able to relax and digest the news, such as his home.

Be honest and sincere

Don't lie or make up BS reasons, just tell him what you feel. Let everything out in the open would prevent him from second guessing. The faster it happens the faster he starts to heal. Breaking up is not a sin; it makes you a better person because you stand up to what you believe in.



Breaking someone heart would make you feel bad, but living in a lie (pretending to love him) would be a nightmare.

1. He is always busy.

Everybody has their own things to do, but if you are important to him, he would make time for your. Being busy once or twice is understandable, but anything more means he is not available for you. When a guy keeps on telling you that he is busy, you need to take a clue. It is time to leave him alone because he is unwilling to spend time with you.

2. He does not talk about you.

Okay, so you are his close friend and he often talk to you. It would seem that he is 'sort of' interested in you. Well, that depends on the conversation. Does he talk about you? Your dog? Your hobby or maybe even something more personal. If the topic of the conversation does not revolve around you, then you better don't get the wrong idea.

3. He blows you off at the last minute.

A guy who is into you would respect you and your time. Whenever a guy is constantly show up late or even blow you off, it is a clear indicator that he is not interested in you. He is not worry about making you upset and have not respect on your schedule.

4. He only shows up for sex.

This is a classic one. Every guy has needs, but some are only in it for the sex. When a guy only calls you for the booty calls, it is time to move on. He is not interested in you, he just being with you to satisfy his needs.

5. He needs advance notice to go out with you.

It is never a good sign whenever a guy ask for a day or more of advance notice to go out with your. This type of guy normally either he already dating another girl or he is trying to get more choices.

6. He does not introduce you to his friends and family.

This type of guy is not sure about how he feels for you. He is trying to think it over again. Apparently he is not ready to bring you into his life. Someone who is into you would welcome you to his life. By getting to know his friends and family you would be a part of his life. Obviously he tries to avoid that.
